I am a proud member of the Métis Nation of Alberta and a guest on Treaty 6 Territory, Métis Region 4. I live on the banks of the mighty ᑭᓯᐢᑳᒋᐊᐧᓂ ᓰᐱᕀ  kisiskâtciwani-sîpiy at ᐊᒥᐢᑿᒌᐚᐢᑲᐦᐃᑲᐣ Amiskwacîwâskahikan (colonially known as Edmonton) where Indigenous people have been gathering  to connect, share, and tell stories for many thousands of years. I am privileged to learn from these relatives, to listen, and to offer my creativity in service to this community in the spirit of kwayskahstahsoowin- setting things right.
